Born August 22nd, 1985 in Boynton Beach, Florida, Pastor/Prophetess Tea is the daughter of Vickie and Otis Perkins Jr. Experiencing the premature death of her mother at age eight, Te-Aira was introduced to GOD at an early age. Reared by her grandmother, she actively attended Church regularly and was guided in the ways of

GOD. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Elder Tyrone Smith in 2006. Pastor/Prophetess Tea is the proud mother of three wonderful children, Jeremiah C. Smith, Leidy Madison M. Smith and Jace I. Smith

Education

Pastor/Prophetess Tea was educated in the Gadsden County School District where she graduated from James A. Shanks High School. She attended Tallahassee Community College and received an Associate in Science Degree in Early Childhood Development and Education, Associate in Arts Degree, as well as her Director’s credentials. She matriculated on to Florida A&M University, where she continued her educational investment earning a Bachelor of Science Degree, with cum laude honors, in Graphic Communication/Photography with a minor in Elementary Education.

Ministry

Pastor/Prophetess Tea confessed Christ at an early age and reflects on prayerful moments through her teenage years of investing time with God early in the mornings. Pastor/Prophetess Tea contributes much of her spiritual foundation to her previous leadership and spiritual father, Bishop John Neal, of Cairo, Ga. Along her spiritual growth, she has had awesome women and men of God to impart into her gifts and ministry. Previous pastors and spiritual leaders were, Apostle Rosilyn Copeland, Pastor Stanley and Prophetess Pasty Dixon, and Apostle Virginia M. Smith.

Many gifts, talents, and the love for ministry outside of the walls were developed while she was a member of Faith Cornerstone Church in Malone Florida, under the leadership of Apostle Virginia M. Smith. She was assigned as the middle/high school Sunday School teacher, where she developed strong relationships with the youth, fervently inspiring them to pursue higher education, save themselves until marriage, and establish a true relationship with God. Prophetess Tea’s fervency led to her working with the parents of her Sunday School class to ensure their educational success. Regarded by many as the Youth Minister at that time her Sunday School class had 99% of high school graduating students, have continued to college. Prophetess Tea accepted her call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the age of 23 in the spring of 2009 under the Pastoral Leadership of Apostle Virginia M. Smith. Upon receiving three years of ministerial teaching, she received her license to minister the gospel beyond the confines of her church ministry.

Prophetess Tea has a fire burning anointing to see lives changed for the better and preaches with a “No Nonsense” mentality when it comes to God and his ability to change people lives. She truly believes and continually stands as a witness that God delivers when we as individuals “get real” with desiring true change. Through her ministerial journey, God has used Prophetess Tea to prophesy effectively pray, spiritually mentor and counsel and exalt with an electrifying personality.

In 2009, Pastor/Prophetess Tea co-founded Abundant Life Ministries with her husband, Bishop Tyrone Smith. As they labored in ministry, Pastor/Prophetess Tea quickly became known for her fire and passion to see the saints grow and prosper in the ways of God. Prophetess Tea developed a passion for inspiring marriages and served as the Marriage Coordinator of Faith Cornerstone Church Ministries from 2011-2013.

As her growing passion was kindled for ministry, Pastor/Prophetess Tea was the driving force as God birthed Life Changing Faith Church Ministries Inc., in 2013.

In 2015, Pastor/Prophetess TeAira Smith was elevated, consecrated and ordinated as Prophetess by Apostle Virginia M. Smith. To anyone who knows her, the resounding response is, “Prophetess Tea is REAL!” She wouldn’t have it any other way.

Pastor/Prophetess Tea has invested more than ten years impacting the lives of students in the Big Bend Area. Alongside her husband, she invested and founded Simply You Photography, LLC, and God overwhelmingly blessed their photography business to be a leading business in the area.
